Tanzanian Creative Designer Beate Allard founded Schwari in 2006 and her use of hand dyed fabrics along with bright and unusual vibrant colours has become the label's unique signature. Beate designs the patterns herself and often uses intricate beading work and color ranges, sourcing all materials locally and using only local Artisan woman to undertake the work ~ ethical manufacturing being at the heart of the Schwari ethos.

What they say...

"Schwari  is a unique fashion line produced entirely in Tanzania. Each garment is beautifully designed by Beate and entirely hand made with pride and care by local under-privileged artisans. I believe that my fashion can be worn internationally as it has a beautiful blend of Asian, African and European chic"

What we say...

"The Beate Allard label 'Schwari' is a true definition of the very best that Tanzania has to offer

and we are very excited to see her latest work presented on a London runway".
